Superb mate. Is that top wing painted yellow on it's underside?
I would have thought the bottom wings would have been fitted first

Cheers Robbo..........the yellow continues under the very front wing for about 3-4mm in and runs the full width ...the rest of the wing is kept Alu so it was a simple case of running Tam tape along it`s front span. The top wings are fitted first onto the rigid spars and allowed to dry this gives a solid base to work with when putting it all together............the `N` posts and lower wings are attached afterwards and while the glue is still pliable you can align as necessary against a rigid surface.........by going the other way you would be putting pressure on only the wing attachment points where it joins the fuselage which is a lot weaker than the rigid upper wing............and thats how they tell you to do it in the instructions anyway .......but it makes sense All the painting was done prior to fitting so access wasn`t a prob

Ok chaps....as promised Rigging, gloss work, decals done..........prop done but not fitted yet
Lots of lessons learned and a few schoolboy errors along the way but i`m quite pleased with this little kit from AM.............probably a bit above my level if i`m honest and i certainly would do a couple of things differently next time.........mainly with the riggin`, not being a wingyist i probably made hard work for myself and that`s one of the reasons it go shelved..........however i couldn`t leave this colourful little bird sitting there and was determined to push it over the line, still got a couple of bits to do but she`s virtually finished

I`m gonna leave this one pretty clean (yes i did just say that!!! )..............i`ll give it a light wash to pick out the detail here and there and that's about it.
Cheers chaps

Now that looks superb! I agree mate a light bit of panel washing will be just the job on this.

Thanks Pete and Paul She`s had another gloss coat to seal the decs and i`ll leave this to sit for 24hrs so the gloss cures before adding some pin/panel wash etc

What's not to like!? A very subtle wash/pinwash will keep the yellow bright, perfect.
