I make that type of school boy error all the time buddy! My glue finger prints are on every one of my builds , they sand out though

Cleam build! Try to use filters to do the wash work.

Thank you Armorguy, Steve and Marco. Marco, I've never used filters. I'll have a look at them. I've given the hull and running gear a coat of primer. The next stage will be the interior white paint after checking Paul's advice.

Joe, when use filters, do not try to clean. Just apply and let dry. Use the brush on vertical to simulate streaking. Smooth primerage BTW!

Shaping up very nicely indeed Joe, go on to You Tube and type in anything 1/35th filter useage...or somat along those lines etc and youll get hits with `How to`s` etc..........Iknow some of the big companies do videos of how to use filters and stuff, i`ve found loads of stuff which i save and use as reference.

Thank you Marco. I used Tamiya primer from a spray can. Thanks Pete. Sorry about the poor quality of the photos. Cheers Boots, I'll go on YouTube and give it a coat of looking at. Also, could anyone please tell me, were British Achilles painted olive green? Below is one I f***ed up earlier. The photos don't give it justice to how poor it looks in the plastic. Shame really, I was pleased with it until I used a wash. My fault, it was the varnish coat. I didn't thin it properly.

Joe, that Japanese vehicle does not look that bad. I am impressed with that. Still, practice makes perfect; I also messed up a bit on my Austratt turret when I did the filters on mine.

She's looking crisp in her primer. This is a fun stage because you know the painting and weathering is not far behind.
Regards,
Ian

Thank you lads for your encouragement. Just a couple of photos to show my slow progress. A coat of primer, and a bit of dry fitting. It's going together really well. Being Tamiya, no big surprise there then.

Very nice indeed . I thought you said you was a slow builder ? Cheers Steve, Robbo, Boots, Pete, and Paul. Thanks for your comments. Paul, it looks as though I've done more than I have. It's a case of All fur coat and no knickers.
