Lovely bit of work with the hard edged camo there. It’s always squeaky bum time when you start to peel the tape off.

Cheers Jase . And yes how true that is with the squeaky bum, but the masking from Gaspatch is very low tack. The only problem I had was getting the stuff to stick to the curves, wing leading edges and the cowling

Certainly better Jase, except for curved areas like I said. But you can't buy it as sheets or rolls, you can only get pre-cut masking sheets specially for the Gaspatch aircraft range. I have however, managed to save about 95% of the sheet after the painting session, this I shall use on my E-10 and (hopefully) the E-50 tanks I have.

Jase that is a shame, but I'll keep looking out for the stuff and let you know when I find it or something similar . Phil, very kind of thee ole chap Ian, tar very much mucker . Today I decided to risk masking and spraying the black round markings on the aircraft . It worked, and next I might consider spraying the white crosses on the upper wings .

I do like the look of AB’ed ‘decals’ unfortunately there’s also a lot more scope for everything to go horribly wrong. No pressure for the crosses of course.

I have a very high trust in the Vallejo paints too Chris, cheers my friend I’ve only every used pre-made masks on turrets and even on a flat surface I think they are noticeable better than decals. Not sure exactly why. The edges aren’t so exact, the thickness, the lack of backing film?
