Well, more retirement income landed at Scale Hobbyist this week but I got a nice counter-insurgency bird to show for it. I had been eyeing this for awhile and decided to go for it. Looks like a nice kit but research material will be a tad sparse. Regards, Ian I be3lieve it's based on the Cessna 02-A Skymaster. Chances are, because of the arms embargo against Rhodesia and S Africa around that time, they were 'Militarised' in house? Refurbished and modified by Reims, in France where they were turned into gunships.

Nice score Mence! That Takom 3-in-1 kit is a great one I'm told. I never got it because I picked up and built everything in it piecemeal in separate kits already by the time that came out. I also have a resin A-Stoff trailer and an Opal fuel tank truck. Now if someone ever came out with the command truck for a V-2 Launch Site, I'd be able to do a diorama of one.

€13 well spent me thinks . Certainly better than one of those magnetic holders, and as you can the model is well held in place. There's a rubber top to the upper plate, that stops stuff slipping, and this test run with the masking on the JT was awesome. The tank was fixed in place, I could use tweezers and a tooth pick to add the masking tape, using both hands Found on Ebay, apparently they only cost £6 in the UK, but you have to take two. This is what it's called: Metall Aluminium RC Car Workstation Work Stand Reparatur 360° turn f R9O9 Don't take the 360° turn bit too seriously, it isn't the same as a Tamiya paint stand

My furlough comes to an end on Monday and I still have a job! To celebrate, this rather large box arrived today.
