Back for Xmas I got an Amazon card. We do the whole family Xmas thing the weekend before the actual Xmas so I ordered a couple of days before Xmas. I order three items...I've recieved two of them within a few days of the order. The third item is a Bandai Gundam kit. I get a message that it had shipped on Dec 23rd. It was coming from Japan and was estimated to arrive somewhere between Jan 3rd-21st. It was coming via Japan Post...no tracking info is provided. Should have went with a US seller but I wasn't in a real hurry so the wait wasn't an issue.
The 21st comes and no kit. The status is changed to "running Late". More days go by and I send a message to the seller asking for tracking or at least the status. More days pass and no response. I send another asking for a status and telling them if it's just a few more days I can wait but if it's sitting in Japan, on back-order, etc. I'll cancel and get a refund.
They marked it as shipped which allows them to charge for the item...I learned that from an online guitar vendor. I go in to see the seller's rating and there's no store anymore for this. That it's been marked as shipped makes the refund trickier...I'll probably have to try to deal with Amazon. If I haven't heard anything by Friday I guess I get to try to get a refund.
Anyone had to deal with Amazon with something like this?
