Many thanks Paul, Pete, Ian, Boots, Tim, Mence, and Armorguy. Glad you like it.
I might not make much progress for a couple of weeks. My wife has just had a hip replacement, and I'm looking after her at the moment.
Thanks again lads. Joe.

Joe, Hope all goes well with your better half and her hip replacement. If my experiance is anything to go by all will be well. My wife had a hip replacement in 2017 and within 6 months we were on safari in South Africa and up Table Mountain enjoying the view. And what a view from Table Mountain..... Tim

I've not commented too much, but I have been looking in,and yer doing a fine job of this bird. That IP decal sits down really well with a bit of patience, and yours looks a cracker! When I do my next one,I'll adopt your approach to assembly....Maybe? I'm not mad keen on the painting side,as most of the chaps here will tell ya!

A wise move to use the decal Joe , and looks grand also Imagine trying to replicate that with a hairy stick .

Ian, armorguy, CeeBee, Pete and, Paul. Thank you all chaps. The decal went down a treat. I used a drop of Mr.Mark setter, then pulled it down with gentle heat from a hair dryer. CeeBee, I'm also not keen on the painting side. It's not so much the painting, but the preparation, and clean up. Being useless with a paint brush, I spray almost everything. I'm much happier with the construction side. I've still not glued the booms to the fuselage, that's why the joints still show. Once I have, I'll give any areas that need it, a touch up with the airbrush.
