LMAO Guybro ........coz i like doing dirty builds i can get away with murder......O/S has been my friend many a time That's what they say, military modellers can afford to make a mess as as much as they like because they can easily cover things up. I don't agree, I can see this in an instant. Your muddificationizings are art, you never mess up a model. Tarps, camo nets and bedrolls are also loved and easy for covering failures but a good modeller or jury sees thru this. Others : thank you guys, you're too kind. A Clear gloss was applied and tonight the decs can be smashed on. Best regards !

Boots you're no more lazy than a friend and fellow AMPS modeler here in SoCal who claims to be the country's laziest modeler....even though he constantly take Best of Show at nearly every model contest in the area as well as our IPMS USA Nationals. So yeah, you ain't lazy
All is looking fantastic AG! Keep it coming!

Most kind of ya Guy......i put most of it down to trial and error and a slice of good old lady luck The good thing is....i`ve learnt a helluva lot from ya good-self and many of the other guys as well on here and previous dwellings , i also sit for hours looking at various little tricks and tips which can be found on the web ......all goes in the armoury to experiment with....or get deleted!!

Mark......very kind comment fella and much appreciated My biggest problem is......ME!! ..........Oh..and the constant conflicts i have with myself during a build ......i also have a terrible tendency to change course as the ideas flood in..........thats why i`m a slow builder coz i can never make me bloody mind up!! .......however i do try and make up for speed by adding a bit of interest if i can
Thanks again fella

Boots, I have a similar problem with changing course. That's why I tend to build so many different models at the same time. Plus, it keeps things fresh when I switch from aircraft to armor to ships etc.

Indeed friends, decals can be difficult to add on. These however were easy. I put drops of vinegar in warm water and for extra softening I applied Sol. They fell into place immediately. Once dry they were cut were needed.

I applied very dry oil paint with a soft brush to create more subtle shades of olive drab. I used white and yellow ocre. It's a super thin and transparant film.

Pete, Ian, thank you ! I brushed on different shades of pale green/khaki enamels, extra thin to protect the canvassy texture. Once these are dry a dark wash will be applied to make the detail pop out a bit more.
