Amazing! More information about this science, please? Fasten your seatbelts Marco, this is as difficult as rocketscience...NOT ! Here we go : I work panel after panel, one at a time to keep control and to work relaxed without rushing. 1) You brush a layer of mineral spirit/white spirit onto a panel/door...to start with. 2) You then add small dots of oil paint into the wet surface. For an olive drab coat like this I use : - white, - yellow ocre, - ultramarine blue, - emerald green, - Napels yellow works effective too. 3) With a soft brush lightly dipped in white spirit/mineral spirit the dots are now blended into the wet surface (vertical strokes). The result is a green showing multiple shades and transparant colours.
That is almost the same technique I used on my Austratt turret, only mine didn't look near as great as this! Beautiful work man!
I'll be listing this so I can copy it on my next big build.

Duke, I'm sure your Austratt turret came out just as nice brotha. I'm glad I can help. Boots, Marco, I think we all have our own "nemesis" colour(s). My personal favourites are green and Panzer Grey.

Can you believe it ? I ferkin' forgot two decs !!! luckily it wasn't a big issue and now they're on (front bumper). I've already protected them with a layer of clear gloss. The seats are done, I've highlighted their backs. More dark wash was applied in shadowy areas. The woodbed was washed and pinwashed. There's a lot more to do but I'm happy with its looks for now.

Thank you guys. Today was fun as I glued on the spare wheel which is part of the typical look of this Dodge work horse. A couple of resin ammo crates was painted and weathered. I'll drop them in the woodbed later on.

Thanks chaps ! Yesterday evening the woodbed was given some care as the rivets were painted with a bright olive green. A pinwash was then applied and light dusted deposit mixed with Europe dust pigments were brushed in. More will be done later on.

Paul I'm afraid the stunningness still remains in my brushes The headlights were glued in with Microscale white glue. The typical grille sits in place. The hood panel lines were pinwashed with extra dark wash. The spare wheel was washed...still a lot to do however.
