Indeed Guybro! I like this old fashion way to paint and wearther models.. But I don't use the "classic" wash. I prefer to use a kind of acryllic filter. And only enamels to do the dry brush. Thanks a lot mate! Is the acrylic liquid as forgiving as enamel or oil washes? Man acrylic washes are only for professionals ! You da man !

Thanks a lot mate! Is the acrylic liquid as forgiving as enamel or oil washes? Man acrylic washes are only for professionals ! You da man ! Guy, I use a mix of Liquetex artistic acryllic (raw amber), acryllic retarder, water, Vidrex and Vallejo flat black. A apply that very thin mix all over the model, after the flat varnish. Wait a bit to set, look at the result and apply another hand if necessarie, till I get the correct shadows. You can remove any big spots with a wet brush 'till 2 or 3 hours after the first hand. It's easy in truth, easyest than traditional wash, I think and it really start the weathering, use the brush top - botton and you can start some streakings... Hope it helps.

Thanks brotha but I think I'll stick to the oils. Your explanation however makes me think it's possible even for me to succeed with your method.

Hi gang! THanks a lot Robbo!!!! Here's another part of my effort to finish this so diferent vehicle: I finished all hydraulic hoses on the front shovel, glued everything but lights and rear view mirrors and add some mud on the lower parts and tools. Hope you like: Now, glue the lights and mirrors, use the AB to soften the mud and voila! ACC&?W
