I have decided to start a new armor project so I have settled on the HobbyBoss Olifant with Hataka SADF paint. Hard to believe there's a Centurion tank under all that. Best wishes, Ian  |

Thanks for dropping in guys! Well, I have had plenty of time to model at home so I made some good progress on the Olifant. This had been a completely trouble free build so far and is a very nice kit offering from HobbyBoss. The fit is great and the mold quality is excellent; just some very tiny parts on the trees. HB supplies some nice PE details so there is nice tread plate detail on the box on the rear hull. Upper and lower hull are about done and then on to the turret. The turret is just dry fitted in the pics and I haven't done anything that section yet. Stay tuned..... Regards, Ian     |

Small update on the Olifant as I got the turret and gun barrel assembled. I also got the hull finished off and the various details installed on the engine deck. Just a few more details to add on the turret and she will be ready for primer. Regards, Ian    |
