I don't see anything wrong with that, Mence. I think you're right in there, Bro. Mence, thank you my friend. No need to feel sorry. It's just slowing me down. Carl, yup. It has been. Paul. Hammer's getting bigger all the time. 'Smudge. Tanks. Boots. Glad you like it, Bub. Vlad. Thank you. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it.

Question time. My kit came with both L&L tracks and Bandies. Thought I'd use the bandies so I joined the ends together and tried to fit them. Two problems. 1. They don't fit the Sprockets. 2.They are way to short. That leaves the L&L's Here's where I'm confused. I have two identical sprues. That look like this. C1 and C2 marked. Here are the instructions. Confused yet? C1 and C2 are the exact same thing but they have different numbers? If they're the same, why? How can they be the same thing but have different numbers? Part C3 is shown in blue. Blue means it's not used. If that is the case, why aren't they marked as not used on the first page? So do you use them or not? Plus a whole bunch of other things that I find disturbing. Anyway. See if this makes sense. A 10 link run of C1's are joined to a 10 link run of C2's for one end. An 8 link run of C1's are joined to a 9 link run of C2's for the other end. This is done for each track. These are joined to the various other assorted sundry alphanumerically coded lengths to attain a Track? Sound right? Gotta love Dragon instructions.

Just when you think the shockers can't keep coming, they do. Hell Jeff, if that had been my kit, it would now be in the back yard, on fire with me dancing madly round it! I too have been making tracks with a degree more success than poor old Jeffers... Link and length, usual Tamiya 1/48 setup, very tight fit indeed which means as little paint on the road wheels as possible. I don't think they look too bad.

Jeff the C1 and C2 track links should be different, one with guide horn one without. As for the not used bits, well to it looks like you need them. Good luck fella . Mence, I bet you're glad you chose the Tammy kit . Looking very sexy with her boots on

Mence, The thought has crossed my mind. Although it's -18f at the moment so there will be no dancing outside, even with it on fire. Tracks look excellent, by the way. Paul, I discovered that when I started to trim the links off the sprue. C1's have horns. C2's no. Just couldn't see it in the instructions. So the tracks went together well. Fiddly because of size but not bad. Fitting them has been another story. After a solid 3 1/2 hours I have this. Doesn't look too bad but the outcome is still in doubt. Going to attack it again this afternoon. We'll see what happens. I've never had a kit beat me and I'm going to try everything in my power not to let this one.

Thanks, Boys. You will notice there are no close ups. I have been making progress but it's been hard fought I'll tell ya. Trying to get things lined up and looking somewhat has been a chore. I've been reduced to ripping the links apart and fitting 1-2 at a time, letting things set up and then do some more. Almost there. Still have this mess to deal with. So that's where I stand at the moment. Not sure if more will be done today or not. I've resigned myself to the fact that they will have to painted on the Hull. 6 hours on one track is enough. AAACW
