Chaps. Taken this puppy as far as I wish to. Last few bits added, tow cable, Jack, usual stuff. Everything toned down with a heavy wash, chipping, graphite.... Left the hatch open purely to provide visual contrast, breaks it up a bit. Anyway, here goes. Thats it, be gentle as I don't do Armour and don't forget to tune in to another episode of Prof sticks stuff badly soon. As always, followers and support are greatly appreciated.

Cheers buddy.
I've since had a fiddle with the top of the left track run so it sags slightly better just behind the front sprocket. They are so tight, there's a limit to what you can achieve without damaging things..

That is awesome Prof . The look is just right , you have to remember these didn't get too old back in the day To be honest in WW2, I don't think many of anything did! I dont tend to go to town on weathering for a number of reasons. 1. Not doing that much armour, I have limited materials. 2. I fear I might mess it up. 3. If you go too far, the build can become a caracature of what it's meant to be (don't PM me with death threats, my opinion only). 4. If I had my way, I'd never paint or weather anything!

Very nice indeed mate I`ll not be sending any death threats your way , i do tend to wander slightly the other way on the weathering side as ya well know..........i just like portraying somat as an old workhorse warrior etc, but thats why i loved doing the big M26 and also the 1/72 one (WIP)........there`s that little opportunity to just give it that `IN USE` look ...........i dare say this Scammell will go the same route ..........but on a serious note i know what ya saying about overkill , i tend to base mine on in field/working type environments but just know when to stop (well hopefully i do) .........the only one i havn`t been that pleased with was the PzII w/w. But as ya well know i am partial to a shiny build every now and then

Dicky, Thank you fella. I consider myself soundly thrashed. Mence that looks fantastic, my friend. Outstanding work, Bro. The side by side pics really give an idea how big this thing was.

Cheers buddy but I don't consider it a fair contest. I had a sublime little kit which in true Tamiya form fell together while yours has fought you every step of the way. That said, I'm certain that once you get her over the line, she's gonna be a beauty.
