Ha! The age old debate!😁 I'm always on two seats with pe. I take what suits me and leave the rest. With or without, I love look at you guys builds. Voyager set Marco, THOSE are terrifying😂 The only ones I did was for client's builds. Thanks for all the good words my friends. More today! Nice progress so far. As for the PE debate, if people want to use the really complicated sets I’m fine with that. The problem I have is with those modellers, thankfully only a few, who are what can best be described as elitist so if you’re not chucking every single AM update at a kit you’re doing it wrong. The flip side is those modellers, again thankfully few, that think anybody who uses a lot of PE is wasting their money and time. To put it simply, some people have trouble separating personal opinion from objective facts.

Well, speaking as a small scale armor modeler; I can only say that I won't buy an aftermarket P/E set for any model. If someone sends me a set for free, or it already comes inside the kit, then I will pick and choose what I want to use based on how detailed I want my model to look versus how much longer it'll take to get it done.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program....

Ok wee U.D. left sponsoon(is that right?) got some details on WITH P.E. The small gutter on the hatch exploded when I cutted it from the sprue...I should listen to Paul and coat it with TET...Lesson learned. Managed to get it on parts by parts.
ACW!

Struck the first obstacle, fitting the bottom plate went a little sideways, warpage and...whatever prevented a good fit. I'll have to putty the joint on the rear glacis.
Here is where I am for today.

Liking that, AFV club kits are not the easiest to build but the end results usually make up for all the pain.
