For me it's gotta be figures... Especially after discovering the joy of Hornet Heads. So a primer/base coat of Halfords Khaki lacquer then followed up with consecutive layers of various skin tone glazes gives me this... And tbenadlightly different tack of a darker skin tone as base coat followed up with lighter tones dry drushed and a shaddow glaze (Masterbox figure) gave this result: . Still loads to learn but starting to get a hang of the glazing in particular, so happy camper am I.

He looks like Sh*te in the pic but i think its down to distortions as he doesn't really look that bad I thought you had made him purposely ugly, so that he fits being turned around a waterwheel .

Paul B, that a reference to the dreaded water wheel from "The Eagle Has Landed?" That was a lasting childhood memory for me when Dad took me to the theater to see that. Paul H, great work on the figures.

Due to an"unstable"(WETF that means) interweb, idp not appear to be able to upload images at the moment, but as part of the skills builder I dug out a Dragon Seal team 3 kit from the stash (the one with the frogmen). I built up the kneeling frogman... Interesting is a word.π€ Something didn't look quite right, so I set him alongside on of the ARW figures.,Richard Osman and Sandi Totsvig come to mindπ I know we omr in all sizes but I'm going to hazard a guess and say he AINT 1/35. A picture will come when I've got a more stable connection.

It's another hodgepodge using a figure from the Dragon DAK at Rest set plus odds n sods from the spares box.

Another one... The figure from Takom Leopard Mexas, with one of Red Zebras ME2 heads. Versus the supplied head:
