Tiger model AMX-10RCR Finally Finished!

This morning while it was still reasonably cool I cracked on with the camo painting. I started with the hataka vert fonce IR, french green to me and you. I thinned this slightly with humbrol acrylic thinner which worked well. The colour is spot on for that particular colour they use. I then tried the brown form hataka but found it was too dark. So I used gunze H310 with a few drops of tamiya XF-68 NATO brown which gave me a nice light colour. Finally the black was just straight tamiya XF-69 NATO black. Some touch ups and tightening of the edges still to do but so far it's looking good.

The model has now had the detail painting done followed by a gloss coat and decals. Looking pretty good now I think. I've not added any wear on the main vehicle yet, just the muzzle and one of the tools.

Lost for words looking at that matey, Top banana of a build. Nice camo and a turret that's worth buying the kit for.

I've been farting about with figures for the model and decided to use just one of the Djiti figures I had as the one I had earmarked for the loaders hatch just did'nt look right.

Cheers lads, well the model has had a few washes & filters followed by some subtle oil dot work and finally a matt coat. Very pleased with how it's turned out so far, it will get hit with pigments an a couple of days.
