Now after the coat of Klear I’m now having a possible moment of stupidity and playing around with can I make a harness for the cockpit seat using masking tape.

Dito dat Ditto that ! Looking forward to the stickerage. I like the fact that even in this scale they provided all the little markings but, well boy are there a lot of. Having a rough count, around about fifty. I’m going to get the optivisor out to read them!

Just a small update, some pin-washes. I’ve only done the grey areas so far (noticed I missed around the nose) using a very dark brown. The green will be done with a slightly lighter brown but also with more thinner. I find the stark look of high contrast panel lining interesting but to my eye it’s just a bit too much. I’ve also been playing around with trying to make a harness and so far the one I think I can get to work is tinfoil sandwiched between two pieces of masking tape and then cut into thin strips.

Certainly not the best representation of an RAF harness but I’m happy with it considering it’s my first go at it and it just adds a bit more interest to the cockpit.
Oh and the bottom.

That looks good , certainly 1000 times better than being bare . I did try it just with masking tape and really couldn't get that to work but the tinfoil sandwich I rather like as it's just so much easier to work with.

Dam fine job Jase........adds that little somat for the eye It’s always been one of those things that in this scale I thought what’s the point but now it’s on my list of things I will do next time and see if I can add a few more details to it. Now the task of decals.

Well a few sessions for all the decals, many that hardly show but I like what they add, and still about ten to go when some of the others have settled down. Surprising myself I’ve only managed to lose one but fortunately it’s on the bottom of the nose. Hopefully I can get them all in-place today ready for a couple of coats of matt varnish ready for doing the detailing painting and some final weathering.

She does look rather stunning Jase Thanks Paul and I’ve very much enjoyed the build so far and I think a large part of that is I’ve got to try lots of things, not always successful, that I don’t normally have to worry about with AFV builds.
