Paul,
She is coming along nicely indeed!! For someone who hates PE you sure did a nice job on it!!
Out of curiosity do you superglue yours on or use Tamiya extra thin like I do??
I have to learn how to solder to make it stronger than a superglued together piece.

Mike, Pete, cheers kind fellows . Mike I used a cyno gel to get the pe together and onto the tank. This gel stuff gives a good bit of playing time, which I certainly need . The last PE bits are on, I reckon I can prime tomorrow .

Lucky you had a spare one. The welding detail looks good. I particularly like the burners marks where the holder is located. Reminds me when I worked in the Dockyard. The burner in our gang was called two shots of red eye because he always had bright red eye balls

Joe, Marco, cheers chaps . Now to be totally honest with lads, the PE stoppers came from an huge etch sheet from a Miniart T54-1 . It just took time finding them again . I have now idea what they really for, but after a little cutting and bending differently than planned, they fit the bill quite well. There's even another four of them on the fret . Just now I have added the Dunkelgelb , as said earlier I'm using the Mission Models Dunkelgelb MMP-011 RAL 7028. This has the late war faded look that I love . Got to let this dry off now, although with the temperature the way it is here I might even get the the Resedagrun on tomorrow

This has certainly moved on since my last visit, looking great Paul. The one I built looked plain but this doesn't
