Cheers Si . Yes you're absolutely right about the toolage, it was a tad tricky getting the stuff off. But, it was well worth the effort, the straps look so good on them it would be a shame not to try .

Looks excellent. I also know how it is being too hot to paint. I've been trying to get as many models to the paint stage as I can so I'll be ready when the temperatures drop enough to shoot.

Today is still 34°, but the humidity has dropped . So I politely asked my Vallejo Primer rattle can if it thought it would be okay to give the model a blast, it agreed .

Thank you Joe . I can actually see everything now, not just guessing at what detail is there or not . With resin and clear parts I have real problems, I just can't see where things start or end. A drop of colour though and all is okay

It really brings out the fine details like the weld seams and hull texture.

It’s amazing how a colour change can pop the details that were invisible before, nicely done so far Paul B)

Boots, cheers my fine fella . Steve, many thanks also ole chap . I haven't got a clue what causes this "not seeing things", it's not only lightly coloured resin and clear parts, it also looking at dark colours. Dark greens and greys all look the bloody same to me. Specially when looking at the jars on the internet, if I see the paint in a shop it's okay, I can turn the jar around and see the paint from the bottom, but just looking at the lid colour or a pic then I'm lost.
