Nice bit of kit, Joe. You're a braver man than Me with that rigging.

Nice bit of kit, Joe. You're a braver man than Me with that rigging. Thank you Jeff. Although, I'm not sure how it will turn out. If you look at the photo below, you'll notice Airfix has left a message on the runner in case I screw it up I will use the rigging set, but I know from experience that I won't be using all the parts provided. Same goes for the Eduard set. The second photo show most of the main parts of the model. The last one illustrates the jig Airfix provide for cutting out, and fitting the horizontal stabilizer.

Joe this kit looks extremely clean fella, not a hint of yesteryear Airfix anywhere . The speed you're running at it'll be done by next weekend

Joe this kit looks extremely clean fella, not a hint of yesteryear Airfix anywhere . The speed you're running at it'll be done by next weekend Not much chance of that Paul, I still have 86 days left. Airfix have come a long way, but I still open the box with a little apprehension. Saying that, nothing wrong with their Tiger Moth, It's very nicely moulded.

Looks like a nice kit. I like the sidewall detail on the interior.

Now I do like that, are you sure it's actually airfix, LOL! Also very taken by the red checkered aircraft.

Thank you Boots. Cheers Steve. hopefully the rigging kit will work out ok. Thanks Ian. It does have some nice detail on it. Thank you Pete. I know what you mean . The checkers look nice, but I'm going for the silver and yellow stripes shown in option B. Not much progress really. I've just painted the interior. The instruments are from the Eduard set, as is the rear seat. For comparison, the kit seat is next to it. I also cut a slot in the front seat bulkhead to pass the seat harnesses through. Next job is to fit the other etched parts on the inside of the fuselage.
