Bandies look fine to me mate, sometimes those individual tracks can be more hassle than they're worth. Especially when you consider how little is seen on the finished model.

As I’m in the market to build a Leo one day, and I like Meng, what exactly was wrong with the fit around the sprocket?s

Thanks, Lads. Stalled a bit on this one but will be at it again shortly. Jabs asked......"As I’m in the market to build a Leo one day, and I like Meng, what exactly was wrong with the fit around the sprocket?s" I think the main problem with the tracks is that they have no locating pins so they don't lock together.
So you just lay them out and glue them.
When you go to put them on the sprocket you get this.
Seat them in one place and they pop up in another. Just no way to get them to fully seat. Plus I don't think you could get them to stay together under tension with the workable suspension.
Hope that 'splains it.
Later, Dudes.

Hope you get the tracks worked out, Jeff. Sometimes individual links can drive you insane and there's nothing wrong with old school rubber tracks.
Regards,
Ian

Been fiddling a bit. Tracks painted and on.

That does the lower hull. More to come soon, hopefully.

Thanks for the comments,Boys. It feels good to back into it a bit. I did manage to get a little more done on the rear plate assy.

What I'm finding as I get more done is that this kit has got to set the record for number of bits and bobs.
Later, Dudes. Got to go move some snow around.

Nice work mate, yeap Meng do have a few bits in their kits but what I like is they only have the minimum of photo etch which is great.
