Great progress Pete. I'd like to know how you've glued the tracks together so they can be positioned on after painting please. I see you left a joint so you can place them over the wheels.

Thanks gents, Marco this is the scheme I'm going for, Joe the tracks are simplicity itself. By carefully following the instructions it's very easy to get a great fit. By leaving a section not glued I was able to gently coax the tracks off after they had cured. Also the rear idler wheels are loose which makes it much easier. Tamiya extra thin was used and after making up the portions containing individual links I left them to dry for about 5 minutes before shaping them around the sprockets and idlers.

Nice! Those colorful French schemes are great! Looks like my Somua (toon tank)

Thank you Pete. I saw the Tamiya cement, but wondered how it didn't bond to the wheels. That's a really good idea, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks again.

Thanks guys, I've now made the only modification on the build. whilst starting to paint the tools I was not happy with the way the spade, hammer and axe handle looked as they had a solid section of plastic behind them. So I cut them all off and after some clean up added new handles from plastic rod. Much better I think now so I can get em painted up.
