Good having you Robbo .  Progress has occurred . The cab is temporarily set on the base . After the filing and clamping it fit ok ,     Just a little view of the putty work . The white putty don't stick well so its back to the Bondo .

Thanks for looking in gents . Nems its a combo rubber band . Milimeter on one side and inches the other .  Its down to some serious clamping now , I'm using my carpentry clamps !

As always Carl, excellent stuff. Nice fix with the track sag. I'm surprised about the the glue issue though. I personally have never had an issue with HB tracks (at least so far  )- maybe I've just been lucky.
