Managed to make a bit of progress with both parts. The Zu has been painted and weathered and with some careful masking the Mt-LB has now got a camo scheme. This is what I was aiming at….. for discussion purposes  It’s a scheme the Ukrainian Azov battalion use and I have some decals to go with it which I’m waiting on. The Zu will require a tweak to get it to sit nicely but you get the idea…..  
Got a few ideas where I’m going with this so hoping to roll out a few updates as I go  |

Really pleased that the camo passes muster with you chaps  Paul….I do like a unusual paint scheme, not sure I could pull off the scheme you did on your recent Leopard II though!  |

Not 1 but 2 Leo 2’s on the bench! Mengs 2A7 and Trumpy’s new 2A4. The Meng version having far crisper details.

There is a big difference in detail. How were they price wise, Si? The Meng A7 was £17 including postage and the Trumpeter A4 was £24 including postage. I took a punt on the Trumpeter A4 as I couldn’t find any reviews but was certainly expecting better to be honest. |

Both kits finished now so took a couple of pictures before paint. First the Meng 2A7. A good kit with some crisp detail and reasonable looking tracks. Would of liked to of seen PE engine deck screens, but all in all not bad at all. 
And then Trumpys A4. To be fair not a terrible kit, a lot less parts but feel it could have come with better detail on the tracks and maybe a bit of PE for the engine deck screens for the price. Generally not as crisp as Meng on the comparable details but overall it looks alright.
