Really appreciate the support chaps, always a pleasure to have you looking in Well I really should be finishing off the Pz IV or the Pz I sitting on the bench, yet I seem to have got myself into some more small stuff. I blame my daughter as she has shown an interest in building and painting so I’ve picked kits up she can do relatively easily. The quick build gaming type fit the bill nicely and cheap too! Here is what I’ve been up to today. Zvezda 1/100 Brumbar given a base of dark yellow Then some camo and a coat of clear. Also have a Italeri 1/72 priest on the go….
These are good fun

These quick build war game models are good fun…..I’m enjoying myself with them so far So the Sturmpanzer IV has had a dark wash and a bit of chipping. It didn’t come with any markings but think it needs some ?
The italeri 1/72 priest, also a snap fit war game kit. Two in a box job. Deliberately high highlights and a dark brown wash, chipping to come.

I thank you kindly fellas The really OTT modulation suits these dinky builds by my eye, makes em pop! Been messing about with the Zvezda 1/100th kits and chucked the JS-2 kit together. Gave it the modulation treatment and dug out some 1 72nd decals for that and the Brumbar, which got some thinner side skirts from plastic card. Need to weather the decals in and muddy them up a bit. And I have the stuff so might try knocking out some stowage with the MagicSculp ….
A lot of enjoyment with these tiddlers

Si, those look great! Always liked the appearance of the JS-2. Very intimidating tank.

This time of year i tend to switch from models to garden in my spare time. Got this being put together as and when….
The tracks have been keeping me busy over the last week. Thankfully clean up was easy…… 114 links per side, each link needs x2 guide horns gluing on To speed things up, I used double sided tape on some plastic card, laid the tracks on them and then added each horn. A lot less handling, think it would of been a nightmare carefully holding each link and gluing on the horns, without knocking them off!
