Hi mates! After an US wheeled, why not a Soviet one? It'll be OOB and I'll use AM decals, but I don't know which version: BTW, I just started it by preparing the hull: Hope you like! ACC&?W

nice start Marco !
Already done a few of those 8 wheeled beasts, you need to pay attention to a few things:
- depending on the version there are some holes in the hull that need to be filled. - The front blade / ramp thing that is attached by 4 small arms, 2 on each side, is very tricky to work with, both on the BTR-60 and BTR-80 so I'm guessing it will be too on the BTR-70...
And that's it ... just have fun Marco !!!

Hi JP!
Thanks for pass by!
I filled all the holes that they asked too. This was my first step!
I saw the arms. It'll be tricky. But lets see.
Thanks for the good tips my good friend!

Hi JP! Thanks for pass by! I filled all the holes that they asked too. This was my first step! I saw the arms. It'll be tricky. But lets see. Thanks for the good tips my good friend! those small arms are quite fragile and you need to align all 4 , even without any glue aligning them first will create some stress on the plastic arms. I found one way that "felt easier", attach on one side 1 arm on the blade/ramp, then get that side glued on the attachment holes, with one of them fixed, it will be easier to align the rest of them, the main problem here is that the blade/ramp is too heavy and while you are trying to get the other arms the whole thing starts, moving / breaking and stressing the small arms...

John, are you talking about show the trim vane open? I think it's really a huge problem. But I'll show it closed. Is it easier? Thanks a lot my good friend!

From the instructions, here the BTR-70 has only one arm per side, the G13 part is not attached to the side, so it might be easier ... not sure. Oh, well I'm glad I have a BTR-70 in stash to try it !!!
