Beano meister will you tackle this bust with acrylics or oils? Guy, Iβm going to try using acrylics as a base and then oils. Its going to be all new to me as only used acrylics before π

Quick spray test π€ Most of my paints have gone of as not used them for over 2 years now. Whilst I wait for new ones to come I found some Stynylrez white to try. Itβs not the colour I want to use as base, but I need the practice, and it seems to be ok. Will give it a rub over when fully dried to see if usable. Ps, anyone know where I can get Stynylrez primers? They seem to have disappeared!

Great job so far beano, white is perfect as a first paint layer. You can even apply a dark wash now, it will add depth to the bust from the start and avoidable imperfections will pop up. The white will also guarantee fresh and vibrant colours during the painting stages. Glad to see this ugly boy progress. Have fun mate!

Still waiting for some paints to turn up π, but I did manage to get some pre-shading in. And my god, my airbrush skills are well rusty π³. Still, good to be at it again...
