thanks guys glad you like him. I've now moved onto the model and have added a initial wash using heavily thinned MIG neutral wash followed by a pin wash using raw umber & black oil paints. This has really popped all the bolts and rivets really well. I'll add a little bit more using straight oils to add some grime along the chassis and bottom of the bodywork before adding some dust washes.
Finished adding some grime around the lower chassis and added a very slight dust wash here and there. Last night the model was matted down using VMS varnish. I also sprayed the wheels which knocks the shine off the rubber nicely. A couple of days to let the varnish fully cure before final weathering with pigments so I'll make a start on the base today at some point.
