Just felt the need to start something tracky. This was simply top of the pile so out it came. Nice quality crisp molding and a bit of PE... though I would have preferred a styrene option for one or two bits. Strangely, the first steps deal with detailing the internal surface of the troop exit ramp including various PE additions, but a) there is no other internal detail b) the instructions then have you build it closed anyway .

OK then.. HB PE is a bit Hmmmm... I forgot they have you bend on the opposite side of the marks and my thick Irish thumbs have made it more awkward. Some tarps and weathering should help with that. The construction of the wheels is also somewhat interesting with the overlap provided as an insert, but of questionable circularity in places. . This is one of many variants I have in the stash (another -40A by Academy, and HB -35, - 30 and a - 40C) so using it as a feeler build so it's not too much of an issue for now. The big thing will be the tracks, supplied as single links with inserts. More tedious than problematic. We'll apic of where I got to with some bench time yesterday:

Well at least you could get away with just half a track run with the skirts in place.

Yup that's the plan... Or at least was... I'm having difficulty getting the bloody things to stay together even for that...😕 Gonna park this one for a bit while I figure out what I'm going to do.🤔 It was a "Feeler"build for other CVs I have specific plans for, so it's done its job up to this point.😏 Need to dig out some other stalled projects and get them finished, or at least a bit closer to finished.

Shame about the tracks causing the stop on this one Paul. I must admit that they put me off 1/35 builds a lot. Onwards and sideways fella
