Thanks everybody! And now the fun part. I gave the lower hull a slight airbrushed dusting of very thin Tamiya Buff darkened with some Earth Brown as a general filter. I then added my base pigment layer which was MIG Dark Earth weathering powered secured with a fixer. Following that I added the wet mud layer which was composed of Vallejo Thick European Mud which is also one of the greatest inventions since......Scotch. I will add the wheels later because I did not want the Mineral Spirits to weaken the axles by softening the plastic. Regards, Ian

The tracks and wheels were installed and everything went on without any problems. A layer of Dark Earth Pigment was added to the wheels and the tracks and then the Vallejo Thick European Mud was applied. I decided to add a rolled camo net to the turret bustle for extra detail. I took a piece of modeling clay and then rolled it into a cylinder and cut the ends off. I then took a piece of gauze cut to the same length and rolled it around the clay. I soaked then soaked it with highly diluted white glue and water and rolled it in some Foliage Leaves from the diorama terrain spares box. The brush I used to apply the glue mixture still had some pigment residue on it so the net ended up turning pink. It kind of looked liked an aborted wooly-worm. Once the white glue mixture hardened, I took two lengths of picture wire and cinched the net where it will be tied to the turret. It was then sprayed with Vallejo Field Green and finally ended up looking more like camo net. I will also be adding some bedrolls to the tank and these came from the spares box. I then added some pigment to the top of the turret near areas where the crew would be tracking mud around. To be continued...... Ian
