Thank you guys. I removed all the paint of the turret exterior and I'll start all over again but this time I won't add graffiti as it turned out to be a lot too time consuming and it was just impossible to put all my friends names on the M47. I don't consider it a setback as I learnt a lot on cutting masks and airbrushing the graffiti and now I know from experience it's possible to get that graffitized look on a tank. I'll go for a speedy comeback with the turret as this little project should be done by the end of 2020, I can hardly wait to move on with 2021's first group build. I stick to an abandoned M47 and today the rust colour goes on as a base paint.

Impressive as the turret was I'm sure the mk2 version will be even more inspiring. Great skills also on making the masks for the graffiti.

Tommy you and Steve must be stand up comedians lmao However I appreciate the compliment The new old paint coats are back on. -Tamiya acrylic dark rusty brown diluted with Tamiya laquer thinner applied, -Tamiya acrylic light rusty brown diluted with Tamiya laquer thinner applied, -hairspray and salt sprinkled in, -Tamiya acrylic dark green mixture diluted with water applied, -salt removal (toothpick), -Tamiya Gloss Clear to protect the result, -hairspray and salt sprinkled in, -Tamiya acrylic light green diluted with water applied, -salt removal, -protecting coat of Tamiya Gloss Clear added, -massive pint of beer consumption to celebrate our hobby.
