Too many glitchess with ongoing builds of late starting to suck the joy out of my modelling, so I decided I needed a stress free build like only Tamiya can provide. For the wet Welsh Sunday that was in it I though this would be perfect and after an hour here's where I am up to. Needs a bit of paintification to the engine etc and then onwards. Its doing exactly what it needs to, enjoyment, relaxation and stress killer. Need to do a few more of theirs to stay in the zone I think.

Lovely little kit. Enough detail without the need for 27 part sub-assemblies of the engine timing belt... Only problem is that awful nylon mesh for grills. Need to find something else but otherwise, joyous😉

Tamiya stands for a stressless build, good thinking. Enjoy fella.

Tis a beautiful little kit & as you say building a few tamiya kits really does get you back in the zone.

My Hunter is having the same effect on me but I'm going to stick it out as it is for someone else.
Got to love building these little vehicles

As it happens I’m doing the 1/48. Did the mesh come with the kit or was it an extra buy?

I hope the mesh was worth all the effort. With the seats in and the cover, will you still see it?

Hi Tomygun, the mesh came with. It wouldnt be so bad if it didn't need cutting to shape. It will be just about visible, so probably worth it.

This happened to anybody else? You cut a piece off the spruce and it just flies through the air and disappears completely. This happened to me with the long pole for lifting up the propeller. I thought I’d find it cleaning up but it’s just vanished. Where do these pieces go? As they used to say in Vision-on Answers on a postcard to the usual address .
