110% certain I haven't lost the part, I really believe it wasn't in the box to start with. I'm calm, emailed Meng After Sales, see what happens.

Meng have responded saying I will have to buy the whole sprue, $2 plus a further $8 for shipping. I have paid but they said they only ship spares every Friday so due to the time difference, I might have missed today and will have to wait a further week before they dispatch. At least it's coming. |

Chaps. Difficult to keep this moving without the spare part but hey ho. Anyhoo, built the business end of things.  Might get some paint on them in the meantime. |

Mence, that looks fantastic. The detail on the launcher/radar array is really nice looking and the SAMS look cool too.

Wow Mence! Amazing and clean work so far! I just love Meng's stuff, never had problems with kits and now I know that they have a good costumer service. Another reason to like.

Looks very impressive.
I’d not be too happy having to pay for parts that should have been in the box.
For more expensive kits I always check the sprues when it arrives, I can then return it as faulty under distance selling rules if anything isn’t right.

Absolutely right, this is one of the few issues with buying kits direct from China, very little cost free comeback if things go pear shaped. That said, out of the many hundreds of kits I have purchased from China over the years, this is only the second with a missing part. |

Pic free update. Missiles now have base primer coat on, waiting on paint to finish. Hull primed ready for camo while I decide which is the easiest.  Cleaning up and a tiny skim of filler on the missile launch parts that I can build. Tracking number from Meng on the spares so it did make last Fridays sweep. Separated all the track links (workable) assembled the first two sections of 6 or 7 links, tried to join the two sections together, fell to pieces.  Metal track links ordered. |
