Or a flock of Typhoons or P-47s shows up and strafes the HJ unit and the POW escapes into the icy wilderness.😄 Good one

POW Tommy, it's getting close to x-mas, so show some mercy I was thinking of an Xmas tree from the Americans to the French that has been trampled under foot.

It finally snowed tonight. I’m amazed at how effective and easy it was to add the snow effect. If ever Tamiya have another event in Tokyo, I’m definitely entering it.

Certainly looking cold now Tommy . As for the shows well,... we're in pretty poor form here too

Some stuff is now in place. If I have the POW I can’t fit the schwimwaggen. Using the stick grenades as paper weights and the general filth and destruction adds nicely to the horrors of war. Which, not only to have fun and use up a lot of kit, is my aim.

Check out the ubiquitous broken cart wheel. Is there a farm in the whole of France without one?

The broken chart wheel is a very nice touch, items like this make people taking a closer look to discover more.

Almost there. Should I go with the kubelwagon or the schwimmwagon?

This just keeps getting better . To answer your qquestion, I'd say the Schwimmwagen would be more appropriate

Indeed a great diorama with excellent elements really telling a story.

I like the diorama's atmosphere, it's dark and it adds drama to the story. Very well done mate. Btw the tadd of snow on the bricks in the wall are a superb touch.
