Looking good Tommy. Like the other lads said, an airbrush is a great tool. My first was the old Humbrol Studio One.

So I was watching El Alamein, an Italian war film last night and I saw this and decided to make this. Though it looks shabby it’s not too shabby!!!!!

Used some VMS chip and nick. Didn’t come off so easily. Done some other weathering, will give another coat or two of VMS varnish then some more chipping and other work on it. If I was by myself I’d probably call it quits, but since I’m on here and I’ve seen what you guys do, then I am nowhere near finished. Let the battle commence.

Tommy, I would have called this finished as it's already magnificent! That is the difference between a Master like yourself and a Novice like me. You keep going while I go on to the next one...

Looking good and whether is finished, tricky one. Personally I’d go with what Paul B said and go for some dust or plan that in for another build and then use this one as your test subject.

Never took you for a scooterist Boots. Had a few back in the day, Vespa 90ss, Lambretta TV 175, SX200 ,GT and in about 1995 i restored a Spanish SX and made it into a sixties SX 200 lookalike. I have some photos somewhere. great days, wish i had them all now!!
