I like it, it has a certain greasiness you can see on many tanks.

No problem Boots and the kernel. I’ve always been a Vespa guy myself. Lammy’s were always too much money. The setting is going to be something along these lines.

I bought some figure painting brushes the other day and my man is coming along nicely. Bear in mind that it’s 1/48. The mustache is a nice touch and lots more to do on him.

He’s done. Got a bit of a tan thanks to Tamiya’s figure accent color.

Man, what a rocking great diorama that is! I wish I could do these and do them that quickly! At 1/48 scale it is quick. Plus, it’s all in the gear. The right tools make everything so much easier, as I am sure you know.

That is a cracking little dio fella and the weathering is excellent Thank you. It’s a big shout out from me to VMS sand pigments in zero and fine. I’ve got some coarse on the way for when I do my honey. And this has been good practice for the honey.

I am impressed with the Black Dog ammo boxes on the front left. They fit so well they look a part of the kit. The kit came with closed hatches but I read in Warriors for the working week, that in the desert commanders soon realized it was suicide to rely on periscopes and optics. So a commander always has his head out of the turret. Excellent novel on tank warfare if you are stuck for a Christmas read, by the way.

Excellent work and a really nice diorama to set off the model. I'll also be looking at that book too!
