Some may remember my RadBrad from the Worx. As a refresher, it was a what-if recon vehicle based on the mating of a M2 Bradley Turret to a M551 Sheridan chassis. I decided to change the paint scheme to match the Privateer Leopard 1 I built.
I also added a driver. The kit's driver hatch is designed to be posed open or closed. I don't think they expected anyone to do the former. It required some modifications to allow a driver figure to sit there and be able to see out. The driver is one of those Tamiya AFV driver half-figures fro the Modern AFV Accessories Set. I didn't do any other crew. I'll add them later...and I'll probably redo the Leopard1's crew too.
The biggest change was the paint. I used grey and green, similar to how I did the Leo1. Standard drybrushing and weathering. Stretched sprue antennas....which are one long and the other short just like the Leo1. Markings come from the spares and from the Archer Skull and Crossbones/Jolly Rogers transfer set. The Archer set has three different versions of the insignia but I wanted the RadBrad to have the same style insignia as the Leo1...so I picked up a second set. I figure the others could be used for other vehicles in other Companies of that Privateer unit. I would think it'd be a common bit of imagery for such units.
