Good evening gentleman. Paul, Pete and myself are going to build a Luftwaffe aircraft each in this three way split. Paul is going to build a Tamiya Focke Wulf Fw190 A8/A8R2. I'm in with a Tamiya Messerschmitt Me262A-2a. Petes agreed to join us, but he's not chosen his build yet. That's a good thing, because the speed Pete builds, I need a head start. Admin Edit: The kits, well I do believe this going to be the listing . Joe Paul Pete

Thank you gentleman. I think you will have two great builds on this thread for sure. Meanwhile, I'll make a start on mine. I've got a pair of Fockers on my tail, so need to get a move on (no offence Paul and, Pete). I've taken all the relevant parts I need off the runners and cleaned them up ready for spraying. Next job will be to hold them in place with double sided tape on a board for a coat of primer. I was going to give this model a coat of different colours of Alclad with no markings at all. But I'll finish it in Luftwaffe markings now.

Damn you're further along than I am already . I must admit your technique of painting before assembly does look facinating , but it does also scare the heck outta me .

Paul, a man of your caliber will soon catch me up. š Painting before assembly is a lot easier than it looks. It can save you time masking later. But, you've got to have a kit that fits together without the need for any filler. I've put a few bits on a board with double sided tape and white Blu Tack ready for spraying. Did you know, Blu Tack was originally white. But a colour was added to stop people thinking it was chewing gum and eating it.

A little more progress today. I decided to use a white primer rather than black so I could give the wings a coat at the same time. A coat of silver next where it's needed I think. I'll get as much painting done at this stage as I can as I know this kit goes together so well.
