Is the red band a decal or was it airbrushed on Paul? Well done anyway.

Okay chaps, the panel lines are on, well as good I can get them . I think I went too heavy with the paint and gloss, plus the Tamiya decals are a bit thick and wouldn't slide into the panel grooves. But hey, I don't think it's too shabby . Oh yes, I used thinned black oil paint and VMS matt Tomorrow is going to be a serious session with weathering and chips . Also, Petes nemesis is my nemesis, the canopy had to be stripped and re-painted. I also need to try and hide a scratch on the canopy, that sounds like fun..... not

Thankee kindly Marco . I don't think you need to learn much you armour, train, wheelie builder painter . The main thing with panel lines is, a very good gloss cover before hand. That way you can wipe off any mistakes easily, whether using oils or that weird stuff Flory wash

Ta Paul! I really want to try. In trains, tracked and wheelies I used my infamous "acrylic filter", so, it's a bit different! I like oils, lets see.

Marco, go for it fella . No doubt you'll do something wrong, as I always do , but the wronglies can be easily fixed if you're switched on enough . And you certainly are switched on Pete, thanks mucker . I hope I don't screw anything up from now on

Looking awesome Paul. Those decals went on a treat. No easy task with Tamiya decals sometimes. Even the walkway lines look good. Very well done sir

Much appreciated Joe . The walk lines I chopped up into two pieces. Much easier adding two straight lines, rather than one L shape decal

That's a good idea Paul. Never thought of that, I'll keep that in mind.

Okay chaps, the wear and tear has commenced . On the lower fuselage I used oils, Mig Oilbrusher Starship filth and black oil paint, these were added separately and mixed together. The undercarriage covers are only blutacked in place, I did this to get the same staing on them as the rest of the fuselage . I also added a load black pigment for the exhaust stains from the lower exhaust. Aluminium chipping was also added using Vallejo Aluminium paint.
