Soviet BA-10

Wrapping this one up...there really isn't much to show. I beat up one of the fenders a bit more and then damaged the one wheel rims pair. The front wheel was bent under to appear as if it suffered some suspension damage. The original plan was to make this a burnt out wreck. I walked that back. I didn't like the look of this thing without rubber on the rims. So I weathered it, drybrushed, and dusted it. I left the driver's door slightly ajar. No markings....I tend to be a decal minimalist on Soviet stuff.

This will be tied in with the other 2021 GBs so the BA10 may be tweaked a bit to blend it in to the final year-end diorama. I'll probably tone down the fender damage a bit. It should bend back with a bit of persuading.

This kit is not that great but...it was cheap and it served its purpose. From what I've been able to find, Toko shuttered their plastic model division. Those model people went on to form Rhoden. The Toko molds were sold off and found new life through several makers such as Eastern Express and Zvezda. Not certain the kit's age.  This will be tied in with the other 2021 GBs so the BA10 may be tweaked a bit to blend it in to the final year-end diorama. I'm picturing a pretty simple dio of a German unit marching past some abandoned Soviet vehicles during Barbarossa.
