For the life of me, I can never ever get my white to look that clean or my panel lines to look that sharp. You sir are a wizard at these incredible tailhooker trainers. Man, I'd give my left leg to have the skills to do this on mine. Guy, Tommy---thanks gents! Guy would you also have room at your house for a Nimrod? Asking for a friend. I do. There's a spot on my cramped airspace that is still open for one! LOL!

Thanks so much, Duke. I unlocked the secret to a smooth white top coat on this....Tamiya XF-2 White. First time I used it as a base coat and it really does the trick. And the Nimrod should wedge in nicely between the A400 and the Antonov. I will be right over...LOL!

LOL! Thanks Ian! Lately I've been using Krylon spray cans of white primer on my larger aircraft like the Antonov. It takes a number of coats, but it does go on well and smooth. My issue is always been trying to keep it clean! Every time I am ready to seal it under a gloss coat, I find some smudge, spot, scratch, or blemish that makes me have to sand and re-shoot! Doesn't matter if I cover it immediately after spraying to dry in a controlled space. I have used the Tamiya before, but when I can by a 20+ some oz. can of Krylon for the same price as a 7oz Tamiya, I have to go Krylon for my larger craft.
I'll get that hook installed for the Nimrod! LOL!
