Thanks kindly all AG yes kit spokes just thinned a bit with a scalpel and given a generous coat of Humbrol liquid cement to dissolve the flash and dust.

Thanks kindly all AG yes kit spokes just thinned a bit with a scalpel and given a generous coat of Humbrol liquid cement to dissolve the flash and dust. Superb job on the spokes then brotha. With a little extra effort and patience you turned them wheels into aftermarket like parts.

Here’s where I am now, painted and weathering started. I’m open to suggestions as to how I can bring the finish to life, it looks very flat to my eye... What about this for a little dio idea? Not sure it fits the wrecked brief though? ACWAE

Rubble and dust, as if a building has collapsed on it, would be my suggestion Steve.

Some light dry brushing would possibly help mate.

Top work fella I would certainly liven up the spare wheel Steve, it`s a big focal point on the vehicle being where it is..........a little bit of sponge in some tweezers and maybe some black brown and just dab the spokes randomly to add some chipping.....then maybe a dry brush with a slightly lighter colour (i use Tamiya weathering pastels and use a light grey)and finish with some dark pin washes around the centre nut etc, you could also do the same for the side-car road wheel........other than that.........what Pete says

Why not give the oil dot method a shot brotha S? You can alter the green very subtle to add 'body' to this little beauty, a tad of filterization...Strategically applied dust by airbrush...ferk me now I want just the same kit!

Oil dot and a gentle dry brushing on both Steve . And IMHO it's been left behind, so abandoned which is the same as wrecked, for me anyway

Steve, that is a sharp looking build. I agree with the above; maybe some dry brushing and oil filters for depth.
