After these...    I added some details on the front and started cleaning up the wheels. Wheels and rubber tires are separate parts, so after cleaning I will paint them. I like the detail of this little kit, I'm not a fan of their plastic sprues, the attachment points usually are jointed by the side and top of the plastic part, thei could have easily get the sprue attachment being on a side that«s easy to clean and file, but no... it has plastic joining by the side and top side too, with small parts you have to be careful with the details. |

I noticed that on their Krupp Howitzer too  . Strange as to why they do that, specially as the side attachments clean up rather good. Nice progress though John |

Nice progress though John I was thinking it was just this kit... mmhh damn So my 3 T-55's will have the same problem... and the Tiran 4... and the T-54... damn. I agree those side attachments are easy to clean... and on some parts on this tiny AMX some details are very close to the attachment, so don't sneeze or listen to cool rock songs . Just a warning.. |
