Outstanding progress fella, very inspiring too I’ve ordered the Airscale IP for my Spit and some Master canons for the VB wing so I’m making notes of your work

Thanks Steve, I’m probably gonna leave canons on this guy oob. They’re pretty good as is and really not sure if they’ll be on show yet.
As for taking notes, I’ve learnt that the parts fit brilliantly un-painted. I think I’ve had to open every hole or trim pegs to fit if painted first, so check fits 😏

Thanks smudge fella, appreciated 👍
The typhoon will slow down a little as furlough for me over now and back to work. As I model mostly in conservatory I rely on daylight quite a bit, which has been great, but now it's still dark when I get back from work. Still bits and pieces I can do, probably no painting till weekend. Or until evenings get lighter. Gives me chance to ponder how I'm going to replicate damaged panels and how to recreate fuselage after cockpit, as kit is just a tube down to tail.
Suggestions accepted 😁

Not much of an update as working out how to replicate some body panels that I can damage convincingly. Got some 0.2mm aluminium sheet started re-riveting it. Not too worried how good it’ll look as gonna get mangled anyway. Progress so far....

That is looks very convincing indeed I had forgotten about that sheet aluminium stuff, I used to use it loads for making beaten fenders and side skirts. Thanks for memory wake up on that

Looks really great fella I thinned the plastic and used and soldering iron to soften the parts enough to bend. I also drilled out some rivets to make it look like the panels were torn apart on my ‘190 If you want I can dig a picture out
