Hi All Not the most spectacular update as I've been crazy busy at work this week. I've just managed a couple fo quick sessions where I've done a bit more mud work on the wheels and tracks. I also used some of the Vallejo crushed earth/grass product to replicate some grass mushed into the tank treads. Off for a weekend away, so no modelling. However on the plus side I'll be visiting one of the better model shops in NZ while i'm up in Auckland. Enough waffle here's some pics I took this evening. Cheers Mark

As they say, best laid plans................ Turns out my anticipated modelling didn't eventuate. The last lockdown I was working in a job which meant I couldn't work from home, so I could just dip in and out of modelling when I felt like it. This time around it's the opposite. So from Tuesday afternoon until late Friday night I was crazy busy. Then on Friday night they extended lockdown for another 4 days. I was so tired mentally I almost did no modelling as I just didn't feel like it. But I twisted my own arm and did a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon. It was a bitza session, jumping around doing bitza this and bitza that. The main things completed were a bit more mud, for all you mud fans out there. Some more of the crushed grass in the tracks, adding some fuel and oil stains. Final part of the session was going around the surface edges with a graphite pencil. This kitty is now a couple of steps closer to being finished and my thoughts are turning to the diorama setting. Got an idea which I'm planning out, but no clues just yet. Time to sit back and get ready for a visual overload. Happy modelling all Cheers Mark

Lovely tracks. I like the stains on the turret where the track links used to be.
