Tamiya paint with my new X20a
The main body of the boat is primer but the sides are deep sea grey

Super paint finish matey I loved my Neo, used it for 15 years and only just replaced it.

OK the sides have been masked and the light grey has been sprayed. When dry the deck has to have deep sea grey added to the centre parts, you'll see what I mean soon

Right first hiccup, I just started to pick out the darker grey bits on deck with Tamiya slightly thinned with the X20a and it has reacted with the light grey deck which was Vallejo thinned with water. It's gone a bit streaky, almost as if the light grey wasn't dry despite being done 24 hours ago, never come across this before, It is very cold out in my shed I'll leave a couple of days and try a second coat see if that is any better. If that still doesn't want to work I could always give it a flat coat to seal the paint in then give it another coat of dark grey
