Okay chaps, I finally made some bench time today. In the week I just can't find any time at the moment . I have added some heavy post shading, this is Tamiya Smoke, Flat Black and drop of Hull Red. This was heavily thinned and then sprayed over the all the edges and welds. Also I painted up the tools which will be added, for these I used Vallejo acrylics, the good ole Mig Track wash and Abt.502 oils More soon chaps, off to visit the Scorpion now

That look terrific and you've only got to touch them tools up when you take them off the sprue

Now there’s a nice camo! Painting the tools separately is a good idea too, why didn’t I do that on my Tiger? I paint the small parts of my wings on the sprue .. doh!

Those bits are looking really good. What base colour did you use on the jacK?

Ian that Mig or AK track wash is a darned good all-rounder. You can of course use it for tracks too . Marco, thank you bro, you be too kind . Ian H. cheers mucker Boots, well if you say that then I must be doing something right , cheers dude. Steve, appreciated mushty . And painting things separately doesn't always occur to me either . Tommy, cheers meistro . The base coat was Vallejo Hobby Paint primer (German Grey), then I gave it a brush paint with very thin grey acrylic (Vallejo German grey and USAF dull grey), then silver around the edges and finally the Track Wash which was washed right back apart from the raised bits .

Paul, just when I thought you couldn't make this any better, you go and take it five levels higher!
I bow in the presence of greatness! (Insert bowing emoticon here...five times!)

Many thanks indeed chaps . Time to get this one moving again . Wheels are on and I have started the oils too. The front and sides are done, just the top hull and turret to do next The tracks are a bloody nightmare, paint doesn't want to stick to them and they're too long . If I can't get them sorted then I shall look for AM ones to replace them .
