With the T-34 pretty much done, I wanted something super simple to get my teeth into and this seemed to fit the bill nicely. Nice and simple with no interior and the only metal parts are the schürzen. Got started on the wheels and suspension straight away...
Got the rear gubbins stuck on the back thingy, the wading muffler and a run of Individual links put together. I must say It’s a nice plastic to work with as well. It snips and sands nicely.
Im quite far ahead on this so more to come shortly...

I may of been a bit overzealous with the progress pictures, apologies if it gets too heavy
Rear hull plate that was put together before was added....

Hatches to seal up the engine intakes during wading went on. I wasn’t sure what they where at first so had to read stuff to work it out. These can be modelled open or closed.... A pic from above and you can see how the hatch pull up to seal the holes.
Next was to fit the wading muffler, which was a little fiddly...

Cheers gents ... Drive sprockets and rear idler made and fitted.... Onto the upper hull. Added the pioneer tools to the R/h fender.....
Some more of the equipment added to the fenders as well as the spaced frontal armour, bow gun etc.
Goes together quickly this one! Next up was the turret....

Some very easy link and length tracks added. Took about 2 hours to do both sides....
Nearly done

Did ya blink ? That’s it all done! I actually built this over the course of last week an hour here and there and bang it was done. Armour hangers on and ready for paint....

So I picked this kit up for £29 delivered, was it worth it.....yes. I wanted something simple, no fuss and quick and it ticked the boxes. would I recommend.....yes. Build is straightforward enough, not too many parts although some bits are a quite small. Got an idea for a paint scheme but it’ll have to join the queue for now as I’m out of thinners

I’m sure you’ll enjoy it Paul. A friend built the same kit and said he couldn’t get the wheels to go together, mine where fine though and he is Welsh

Smashing work and nice details on the kit, well worth the low price I'd say.
