Steve, I dressed up the nose area some because the bombardier chin window does allow alot of the nose interior to be seen so now it won't look entirely bare up there. And speaking of bare I discovered the nose wheel well ceiling was bare, better yet, non-existent so I scratch built a ceiling out of sheet stock to show a little bit of detail there. This can just rest on top of the punch marks in the well. Late model B-24 wheel well colors are a real can of worms. It appears the main wells in the wings were neutral grey if the plane was OD over Neutral Grey so I went with that for the nose gear well, also. The well was painted with Vallejo Neutral Grey and I then added a wash of Pledge Floor Care diluted with a couple of drops of Acryl Black. I installed the bomb racks in the fuselage, next. Although they won't be seen they are great braces for the fuselage and give it some added structural strength. I also added the storage boxes on the fuselage sides in the waist gunner station. Stay tuned.....
