Tiger Model AMX-30 B2 Brennus

Thanks chaps, more turret work today and I've been really enjoying myself. I've even added the smallest etch chain I could find on the Gallix smoke dischargers. Interestingly the Brennus still retains the old dischargers located at the rear of the turret. The Thermal sight had some cable added although not much will be seen I know it's there. Talking of the dishargers they now need to be fixed in place as some cabling is required but i think the rest of the armour can be left off. Really digging the look of this now especially with that great long barrel on what is a rather small main battle tank when compared to its NATO allies such as Abrams Challenger 1 & Leopard.

Thanks as ever fellas, the construction stage is now finished with the possibility of some stowage later if I feel like it. The final parts needing some attention were the commanders cupola and machine gun, antenna mounts and tow cables and brackets. The cupola was enhanced with plastic card and wire here and there & the antennas were made up with brass tubing. Finally i sorted out the tow ropes and also added the missing brackets on the other side made from plastic & lead foil. 

The painting & weathering on this will be very interesting as the refs I have show the vehicle quite chipped in places and you can distinctly see the original early French green and even the desert sand used during the gulf war. These tanks did have a life of over 40 years so a few layers of paint must have gone on. Also remembering the Brennus was the last incarnation of the AMX-30 they were pretty worn out by then. 

It looks bloody stunning even without paint
