Tiger Model AMX-30 B2 Brennus

Cheers chaps, stickers went on this morning and this afternoon I've started some chipping. Unusually for modern armour the subject of this build shows quite a lot of wear and even has what looks like the desert storm sand colour underneath as well as the original French olive green. I used vallejo Iraqi sand for this as well as various other shades and I'm having great fun! 

Cheers mate, the chipping gets more subdued on the rest of the hull with a bit more on the turret. Obviously where the most foot traffic and wear happens. It will all tone down with further weathering later bit it does make a change to do something modern heavily chipped like this.

Thanks chaps I must admit I'm enjoying this process. The hull is now finished with chipping & I've done the exhausts using various tones of rust and browns built up using a sponge. Not much of them is seen with the guards in place but they are fun to paint up all the same. I'll now move onto the wheels, sprockets & tracks before starting on the turret.
